Commercial Energy Audits
It is not uncommon for a commercial building operator to expend at least 30% of the annual operating budget on energy costs. This can be a large annual expenditure, but for most commercial buildings there is potential to save up to 25% with no cost and low cost measures and as much as 45% with more in-depth efficiency measures. Our energy audits for commercial buildings help you get a better handle on where your facility stands compared to similar facilities and where you can make changes to reduce your energy costs. We can tailor and energy audit package to meet both your needs and your budget.
Benchmarking
If you want to start off easy on the budget and get the big picture, we can provide you with a self audit survey to complete and return to us. We will use the data to make benchmark calculations to see where your facility stands relative to its peers. This will provide you with the "big picture" of how much could potentially be saved.
Visual Audit
For a more comprehensive evaluation, our visual audit will include evaluation of:
- Building shell & insulation
- Lighting evaluation & upgrade calculations
- Visual analysis of HVAC system(s)
- Electronics usage
- Machinery usage
- Full facility inspection of all energy consuming items
The report provided will include no cost & low cost improvements, operation and maintenance recommendations, deeper retrofit improvements and notation of areas where further testing or investigation may be beneficial.
Diagnostics
If you have the need for more detailed diagnostic testing, we put together a team of qualified technicians to provide the following:
- Infrared camera analysis
- Blower Door testing
- Combustion efficiency testing
- Ventilation and exhaust airflow testing
- HVAC balancing tests
- Other HVAC testing (as needed)
