About Us
James Maletta is one of the most experienced and successful energy consultants in the metro Milwaukee area.
He is the recipient of the Environmental Protection Agency's prestigious Century Club Award in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. He has been a home inspector since 1992 and a certified energy consultant since 1998. He consults on hundreds of residential and commercial buildings every year and over 5000 properties over his career.
As a veteran consultant, Mr. Maletta has also provided field training and mentoring for new consultants in the field. He has served as a testing proctor with Building Performance Institute. When looking for a consultant for your home, it pays to have an experienced person. All energy consultants are not equal in training, experience or ability.
In addition to holding both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree, Mr. Maletta is dedicated to keeping on top of the current trends and the most up-to-date research in building science for the benefit of his clients. He has logged hundreds of hours in continuing education in the field over the past fourteen years. He is a certified residential energy rater with RESNET, a certified building analyst professional with Building Performance Institute (BPI) and a certified commercial energy auditor.
